Did you vote your ballot on Tuesday? More than 63,000 ballots were sent out for the special election. If you voted in the city of Yakima, you voted on a property tax levy lid to raise more tax dollars for the city. Voters didn't support Proposition No. 1, though -- 62.93  percent voted against the measure compared to 35.47 percent who voted for the tax increase.
The ballot also included a measure to replace an expiring Yakima School District levy. The levy is currently passing with 50.47 percent yes votes and 49.29 percent no votes.
The district also floated a second levy for capital and safety  improvements. Currently the measure is failing with 51.30 percent no votes and 48.34 percent yes votes.
Other levies in Mabton, Sunnyside, and Zillah are passing. All currently passing.

A Naches Park & Recreation District levy received 67.69 percent yes votes and 31.87 percent no votes. It needed 60 percent for passage.
More ballots will be counted in the auditors office every day until the election is certified on Feb. 21.
