Struggling with Anxiety for the Upcoming School Year?

Remember first and foremost, kids are kids and should be treated as such. They are learning, growing, and overstimulated so being able to provide comfort, consistency and a plan of attack works wonders.

If it's a new school for the kiddos, figure out a way to walk them through how they will get to class from leaving the house to getting home. Who is picking them up and dropping them off? Once they are home continue to have an open line of communication where every day you are checking on them and inquiring about their day. Struggles and issues don't just occur in the first few weeks of school, they are constantly happening. The more you converse with your kids the more likely it is they will bring up an issue or you can identify if they are feeling off.
