Yakima’s Spring Break Carnival is Returning to the Fairgrounds
What has become a staple tradition in the Yakima Valley is when the kids are out on spring break, there's a mini carnival in town. This year is no exception.
The spring break carnival is a fun time for all that features rides for young and older and plenty of carnival food to keep you satisfied for all of those feel-good nostalgic vibes. Sure, you can have a caramel apple or corn dog anytime, but fair food just hits differently when you're outside with the sounds of the rides and kids giggling and sometimes screaming all around you.
Yakima's Spring Break Carnival is set from March 31st through April 9th.
And, best of all, it's free to attend.
The rides, the food, sure, that will cost but it's free if you just want to attend and hang out with friends. Both tickets and wristbands that grant unlimited rides will be available on-site.
No word on any new rides as of yet. They'll have the typical ones we're all familiar with like the ferris wheel, merry-go-round, scrambler and classics of that nature. It seems like just about every year there's a new one to check out.
And the kiddy section is always a favorite for my kids. Even my kids, as they got older, still often walk through the funhouse once or twice.
