When Jason Aldean's wife, Brittany, is having a less-than-glamorous pregnancy moment, the "Drowns the Whiskey" singer says he's actually a pretty sensitive guy. But these moments are few and far between.

Aldean shares that Brittany is experiencing more morning sickness carrying their second baby than she did when she was pregnant with Memphis. So he's been called upon to hold her long hair back a couple of times, but "When she's feeling good, she goes and does her thing," he tells Taste of Country. "She doesn't sit back and let you wait on her hand and foot, so I haven't had to do much of that so far."

The country superstar chuckles when asked if he's naturally willing to cater to the needs and whims of a pregnant wife. "I would never say patience is my strong suit," he admits. "The one thing I got going for me is I'm pretty laid-back. So it takes a lot to get me rattled."

Aldean spoke to Taste of Country ahead of a headlining performance at WE Fest 2018 on Aug. 4.

"She's not too much of a diva when it comes to that kind of stuff, anyways," he insists.

Memphis was born in December 2017. Aside from revealing they used IVF once again, the couple hasn't shared when this baby is due or too many pregnancy details since making the announcement last month. Aldean has no preference on the boy or girl question, but definitely doesn't want both.

"We just want one — I hope there's just one in there," he says with a smile.

The couple announced they were pregnant with their first child in May 2017. A similar timeline would put baby No. 2's due date in early February.
