Blake Shelton, Brett Eldredge, Miranda Lambert and Thomas Rhett will all take the stage live at the 2017 CMT Awards on June 7, and they're far from alone.

One special moment to look forward to is an all-star tribute to the late Gregg Allman, who died last month from liver failure complications. Jason Aldean, Darius Rucker and Charles Kelley will join Derek Trucks for that celebration of life.

The 2017 ceremony will be hosted by Nashville’s Charles Esten, A.K.A. Deacon Claybourne. After being canceled on ABC, the show has found a new home at CMT, where it has come into its own as a drama centered around the country music industry, making Esten a great fit for the emcee duties.

Hosted by J.J. Watt and Erin Andrews in 2016, last year's awards show lived up to the description of “Country Music’s Loudest Night,” with Carrie Underwood’s epic performance of her tune “Church Bells” and several unique collaborations, including Cassadee Pope with Pitbull and Leona Lewis and Little Big Town with Pharrell.

This year's performers have all been busy in their respective careers, with Lambert releasing a new double-album in the fall of 2016 and Eldredge and Rhett on the road. Shelton has been hard at work as a coach on NBC's hit reality singing competition, The Voice.
