January 17, 2013 As a dad, I'm not very good with girls hair. I have no sympathy for brushing tangles out hair as I should, I don't have a clue on how to do a french braid and I don't even know how to do a proper ponytail without loose hairs popping out. I just don't. This dad got the right idea on using a vaccum to get the hair all in place to slap a quick ponytail on his daughter. Here's how:

January 9, 2013 I, once, locked the keys in my car, with the car running and the headlights on, when I went to pick up my date. Instead of going out immediately, we had to wait until my friend could drive to my house, grab my spare car key and drive it to where she lived which was 20 minutes outside of town. (true story) I wish I knew about this technique as it could've made me look like a handyman in her eyes and save me the embarrassment.
January 8, 2013 Long story short, I know someone (a friend of a friend of a friend) who was recently fired from his job at a local area store because he caught a shoplifter off the store premises. Since it happened off of the store's property, he was fired, even though he may have saved many from harm from the shoplifter who was carrying a knife. Is it fair?

January 7, 2013 I love those GoPro cameras. Creative minds have put them on bicycles, parachutes and so much more to experience what it's like to be there. This guy, however, decided to attach his camera to the end of a trombone. For some reason, it makes it slightly silly and is hard not to laugh.
January 4, 2013 The best part about the future is we don't know what's going to happen. If you told me that everyone would have a pocket device that could give you the weather, listen to music, call people and surf the internet 10 years ago, I would've laughed. Now, here we are doing exactly that. What about our roads of the future? While many of our roads are in need of reconstruction, the Netherlands are already working on roads that glow in the dark, warn you if it's icy and charge your electric car while driving on them.
January 3, 2013 My family life aside, here's what you need to know about my hobbies - I love video games, I love Craigslist and I love it when new stores comes to Yakima - especially when they're locally owned an operated. You can imagine my sheer joy when I found out that Yakima will be getting a store that buys, sells and trades video games from all systems from Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 all the way back through Nintendo 64, Genesis and the 8-bit NES.
January 3, 2013 I have to say I'm very proud of my daughter. Her whole life, she has been blessed (and burdened) with naturally blonde, curly hair. When she heard about Locks of Love a year ago, she decided that's what she wanted to do. Instead of getting her hair cut shorter, she'd wait it out a year to donate her hair to someone in need.
