Jana Kramer surprised a fan who shared his "I Got the Boy" story with her, and Taste of Country readers are getting an exclusive look at the clip.

"I Got the Boy" is Kramer's current single, and it talks about a past relationship, reflecting how time and a new relationship have turned a former flame into the kind of man she wished he'd been when they were together: "I got the class ring, she got the diamond and wedding band / I got the boy, she got the man.”

Kramer recently invited fans to share their relationship stories, using the hashtag #IGotTheBoyStories. One of those fans was Chris Rasmussen, and the singer surprised him by joining him for a video chat to hear the story of how he and his wife, Casey, finally came together. Technically, his is an #IGotTheGirlStory.

The couple met in middle school in Reno, Nev., where he played football and she was a cheerleader. They lost touch when their families moved to different cities. But she stayed in his mind, no matter how much time passed.

"All my life, I always thought about her and thought about her and thought about her," Rasmussen tells Kramer. He looked her up on social media, but she was always in relationships, and he was respectful of that. They finally re-connected four years ago via Facebook, and when they got on the phone, they ended up talking for four hours. A month later she visited him, and he asked her to move back to Reno. They will celebrate their second anniversary in October — and to add the cherry on top of their wedded bliss, the couple just found out they are expecting a baby!

"Life has a magical way of always working out just the way it's supposed to," Rasmussen reflects. "We needed the separation to become the man I needed to be and the woman she needed to be."
