Kelsea Ballerini and Trisha Yearwood are uniting for a worthy cause. They are both set to participate in the Grand Ole Opry's Women Rock for the Cure event on Oct. 24.

Ballerini has been given the honor to "flip the switch" on the venue's barn, changing the color from its classic red and white backdrop to pink as a sign of solidarity with the Nashville-based nonprofit that aids young women fighting breast cancer. The young star will also perform on the Opry stage, as will Yearwood, who also has the special duty of introducing the 2017 Women Rock for the Cure honorary survivor. The designation stands for "symbolizing individual battles being won against the disease," as described in a press release.

Additionally, Easton Corbin and Runaway June will perform at the ninth annual event, and Lanco will make their Opry debut. Cody Alan of CMT will serve as the emcee for the evening. Tickets are on sale now and five dollars from each ticket sold will go toward the cause. Kacey Musgraves, Jason Aldean and Kellie Pickler are just a few of the event's past participants.

The "Legends" singer is also slated to receive the ASCAP Vanguard Award at the 2017 ASCAP Country Music Awards on Nov. 3, which is the same day she releases her new album, Unapologetically

"I feel like I’ve been keeping a secret for two years that I finally get to tell,” she says in a press release. “I’ve never been more proud as I am of this record, the story it tells, and the heart my friends and I put into it. So, November 3, we get to start the next chapter! Unapologetically…"
