An entire community is pulling for 2-year-old Lyanna Flynn as she fights leukemia, but her biggest ally may be a country star she's never met. Nothing helps the medicine go down — literally — like Luke Bryan's music. The little girl from New York is all smiles when "That's My Kind of Night" begins.

Lyanna's father, Chad, tells Taste of Country his daughter is "doing amazing" after three rounds of chemotherapy. She was diagnosed on Feb. 21 and started treatment on Feb. 24. The first four to five days were extraordinarily difficult for the family of six, but Chad says support from his community has helped prop him up each day.

While he's overwhelmed by the compassion and kindness strangers have shown, he knows Bryan is doing just as much good without even realizing it. The family first reached out to ToC in an effort to thank the "Spring Breakdown" singer.

“Luke Bryan music is her medicine,” Chad reveals. It's his voice you hear in the video above. That's Lyanna sitting in a hospital bed, hooked up to tubes and machines that eventually interrupt her jam.

Doctors are confident Lyanna can beat cancer. Chad says he's amazed by his daughter's strength during treatment. Their next milestone comes March 23 when they'll have a bone marrow biopsy. In the meantime, friends, family co-workers and strangers are using the #LyannaStrong hashtag to show their support for the soon-to-be 3-year-old. Fundraisers like a golf tournament in June and a GoFundMe page have been set up to help offset medical costs. The support brings peace of mind to Chad and Shana, plus Lyanna's two older brothers and sister.
