Martina McBride will again deck the halls (and the stage) during her annual Joy of Christmas Tour, where she’ll belt out all her favorite Christmas songs adorned with her powerhouse vocals and captivating stage presence.

The songstress has just announced a 12-night tour, including Dec. 4 show at the historic Ryman Auditorium. Country fans young and old can celebrate the season with McBride and her 12-piece band in the iconic Mother Church of Country Music.

“I had so much fun on the Joy of Christmas tour last year,” McBride reveals. “We didn’t get to play Nashville, so I’m really looking forward to bringing the show to my hometown and especially excited to be playing the Ryman again. I love performing there!”

Last year, the 16-city tour was a highlight of the holiday season, and at each stop, an athlete, popular radio personality or local celebrity read ‘The Grinch Who Stole Christmas’ story while Martina sang ‘You’re a Mean One, Mr. Grinch.’ The celebrity guests included former Chicago Bears linebacker Brian Urlacher, Green Bay Packer Jordy Nelson, Pittsburgh Steeler Brett Keisel, TV personality Storme Warren, hockey great Jim Dowd and others, who proudly shared the stage with the Grammy winner. Plus, the 47-year-old singer delighted the crowed with at least six wardrobe changes each night, in addition to a unique duet with Elvis Presley.

To make McBride’s Christmas concerts even more special, young ballerinas from local studios and schools danced at each concert last year, while a large video screen behind the stage depicted wintery street scenes, busy shoppers, snowy mountains and a home video of the McBrides on Christmas morning. Just thinking about the concert full of holiday cheer will make fans want to grab their scarves and mittens, sip hot chocolate, and set up their Christmas tree.

The Grinch reading will return to the 2013 tour. A 12-piece band will backup the singer as she works through staples like ‘Let It Snow,’ ‘I’ll Be Home for Christmas’ and ‘O Come All Ye Faithful.’ There will be video depicting scenes of the season behind the singer. Venues will be announced at a later date.
