Hard as it may be to believe, 2019 is the final year of the '10s — which means the final year of the '00s, 2009 was 10 years ago! And that means that some our favorite country albums of this millennium are about to hit double digits this year.

Remember 2009? We were debating healthcare reform, watching Pixar's Up in movie theaters, cheering the Pittsburgh Steelers to a Super Bowl victory and just starting to use the word "sexting." If you were a country music fan, you were spinning early-career albums from Luke Bryan, Miranda Lambert and Justin Moore for the first time, too.

Other new records released in 2009? Chris Young's sophomore album, The Man I Want to Be; Jason Aldean's third disc, Wide Open; and Carrie Underwood's Play On, her fourth album. Genre stalwarts Reba McEntire and Tim McGraw, among others, also dropped new music during that year.
