5 Reasons to Visit Valley Mall’s Latest Spot for Treats

I found myself at Valley Mall over the weekend and noticed this new, neat place I hadn't seen before. Fruta Rayada el Rey which is found right behind Buffalo Wild Wings. I was checking out the menu and noticed several things I need to grab next time I'm in the area.

The Mango Cocktail looked amazing. Just a big ol' cup of mango. You can't go wrong! Cutting mango isn't my favorite task in the kitchen so when someone else can do it for you, someone who has done it before, all the better. They have other variations like mango with jicima and cucumber which sounds great on a hot summer day or even strawberry mango. You can also choose your spice level as you prefer.

They had others mixes as well like citrus fruit mix and one that included beets, carrot, jicama, mango and cucumber. Sounds interesting enough.

They had plenty of flavored Red Bull options. My kids love those and, when available, will often order one of those for themselves. This place may even have flavors not found in many other spots around Yakima.

What I'm most curious to try are the snowcones. Not just lime or strawberry but other flavors like eggnog, guava, tamarind and more. They just look insane.

And the classic fresas con crema is available here. Strawberries and cream and but if you've never had it like this, it's worth checking out soon as you can.
