May arrives this Saturday and it should be a date marked on your calendar to grab Fido, slip into your running shoes, and head on down to The Yakima Humane Society for the annual fundraiser 'SEE SPOT RUN' - a 5K Fun Run / Walk for humans and dogs alike!

This is a great event for everyone - serious runners who shoot for the best times - to folks who love a slow and steady stroll through the Greenway area and the companionship of dogs and dog-lovers alike.

Entry fees are what generate the income for this fun and family-friendly event, so hit the link below and sign up now! The ticket sales cutoff is 7 pm Friday, April 30th so everyone will be ready to check in on Saturday morning. If you would like to walk or run with a dog but don't have one to join you, check with the Humane Society staff to see if you can escort one of the shelter animals. Who knows, sometimes lifelong relationships are forged right there in the midst of the 5K.

Of course, you can also make a donation directly to the cause - if you can't make it on Saturday. Here is all of the information you'll need to lace 'em up and get involved!
