Are you in need of unconditional love, emotional support, cuddles, and kisses? All of those things can be found in a dog and if you've been considering adding to your crew the Yakima Humane Society has an offer worthy of your attention.
There are Yakima Valley residents that are leaving puppies and kittens in garbage bags on the side of the road. Leaving them to die, out of sight out of mind, I guess? Please don't turn a blind eye, help spread the informative word on how to cut back on this problem that seems to be taking over!
If it was common sense everyone would use it right? STOP leaving your animals in the car when you run your errands. The weather is beginning to get warmer and even though it might be a cool 68 outside the car, it can reach 90 inside super quick.
Tearing pillows to shreds, gobbling down a sandwich that’s placed too close to the edge of the kitchen counter, or finding their way into or onto any place that’s a ‘no-dog-zone’. If you’re a dog-lover, these situations likely sound very familiar to you. If those actions aren’t trained out of the dog, they’ll continue, and, it begs the question: who’s training who?
