It has been quite a year for the Yakima Humane Society, and we're only a third of the way through with it!

From finding furrrever homes while playing match maker from pets to people and claiming a national victory in March Muttness, the YHS is on a roll!

If you missed last year's Summer Bash, you missed a lot of fun. Not only was it a bash in the park, filled with tunes, food, and vendors, but it was filled with pets all ready to be adopted!

This year they're adding a special edition to the line-up, a chance to get your pet vaccinated!

Pull out your calendar and draw a heart (or a paw) around Saturday, June 8th! The bash will open at 1 pm and go 'til 5 pm!

The event is free to the public, but if you want to take advantage of getting your pet vaccinated, that does have a cost (see the YHS Facebook flyer below).

Besides getting ready for some fun in the sun with your favorite pet pal, the YHS is looking for vendors to help fill the park!

If you'd like to participate, fill out the form here. (Space is limited).
