Spokane is Getting a New Anime Convention This Fall

Anime conventions are a wonderful opportunity to meet you fans, be with your people and generally let your freak flag fly. There's a popular anime convention that just announced it's going to be in Spokane starting this year.

Anime Washington has been in Tacoma and now they're starting a second one at the Seattle Convention Center in downtown Spokane. Should be fun!

Asian pop culture, anime, movies, comics, tv shows, video games, art, cosplay, and all point in between. Bound to be a good time.

Spokane is large enough to host something like this on its own but will be nice as the Spokane area can also bring in people from Tri-Cities, Wenatchee, Idaho, and more. I can see people driving in from Western Montana (like Missoula) to attend this anime convention.

The one in Tacoma has only happened once and it was apparently enough of a hit to expand.

Here's someone first-hand experience on what the convention looked like in Tacoma. I'm sure the one in Spokane will be pretty similar.

I'm always looking forward to more conventions and the fact that this is at the Spokane Convention Center is great news as you can stay at the Double Tree right next to the convention center or one of the many hotels in the area.
There's also a Chili's across the street! Looking forward to seeing all the cosplayers there ordering from the bar.
Sounds like my kind of place.

To find out more about how has the price of gas changed throughout the years, Stacker ran the numbers on the cost of a gallon of gasoline for each of the last 84 years. Using data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics (released in April 2020), we analyzed the average price for a gallon of unleaded regular gasoline from 1976 to 2020 along with the Consumer Price Index (CPI) for unleaded regular gasoline from 1937 to 1976, including the absolute and inflation-adjusted prices for each year.
