Bad Parking Jobs of Yakima

I was visiting my local Safeway this past Saturday night. I pulled into a parking spot, and before I could get out of my car, this truck came speeding up, much faster than I feel is safe in a parking lot. He did slow down, as he made sure he did not hit one of the handicap signs.

Now, I've gone and cut through parking spaces in order to get to the exit faster. I've also parked horribly on accident. This guy did it with purpose. He slowed down to not hit the signs, got to the position above and got out of his truck. My jaw dropped, expecting to see Mr. Magoo get out. Nope, a man probably in his late 40s, early 50s got out, clearly well-abled and sober. He locked his truck and went into the store.

I try to give everyone the benefit of the doubt, so I got out and checked if he even had a handicap parking permit. Maybe bad judgment in vision and distance or ability to apply the brake is his disability. Nope, no permit hanging. I thought about alerting the authorities, but since it was late at night, and he wasn't hurting anyone, I wanted to leave them available for real emergencies.

So I snapped a couple pictures. After showing them to my friends, I was informed of a Facebook group I had never heard before. Since I haven't heard of it, maybe you haven't either.
