Brewminatti’s Is Prosser’s Best-Kept Music-Venue Secret [VIDEO]
If you're a fan of music, there's a place in the sleepy little town of Prosser that you have to check out.
Brewminatti's opened in the fall of 2015 at 713 Sixth St., and my wife can't get enough of it. She's dragged me to several great shows at this eclectic coffee/tea shop.
I have experienced some really great concerts there, and I've come to realize that it might be Prosser's best-kept secret.
Marty Taylor is the man behind the venue, booking national and regional Americana acts like Hillstomp (out of Portland), Ballroom Thieves (out of Boston) and Native Sibling (out of Seattle).
It's a great place to showcase musical acts that you normally wouldn't see in the region and the intimate setting affirms the purity of the music.
Brewminatti's has a rule that once the music starts, food service ends. It's all about enjoying the atmosphere and honoring the music.
Brewminatti's concert schedule varies, but the cafe typically hosts a concert every week or every other week.
I like that the tickets are reasonably priced, too, ranging from $10 to $25, depending on the popularity of an act.
It's not a bad road trip from either Yakima or the Tri-Cities, so if you want to find a new musical adventure, Brewminatti's could be the place for you.
