Mark your calendars and get your suggestions ready. Chinook Fest is set to bring its 4 day outdoor music celebration to Jim Sprick Community Park from Thursday, June 8th to Sunday, June 11th. This year will mark Chinook Fest’s 10th anniversary, and they’re reaching out to you for suggestions on the line up.

Rockin’ Suggestions

On a post via the Chinook Fest Facebook page, they are looking for ideas to plug some entertainment gaps on stage. They wanted to know who the audience missed the most, or any new acts that they should check out.

“Tell us who you want to dance to at Chinook Fest 2023! Tag your top three band picks below! We still have a few spots to fill and would love your input. Who do you miss seeing the most? Any new bands we should know about?”

The original post has gathered over a hundred suggestions and comments, including such acts as Genevieve, HillStomp, The Dusty 45's, Stompin Ground, The Lil Smokies, Shane Smith & The Saints, Cadillac Three, Stout Pounders, Saxsquatch, Englewood Heights Band and the suggestions keep on going. The post is still live (as of this writing), so if you have a suggestion, let them know.

Wasn’t Chinook Fest in September?

If you’ve been under a rock and are confused by the change of dates, yep it moved. They are holding the event in June instead of the long held September time frame, a change they implemented last year. Many reasons went into it, but the big one had to do with the many incidents of forest fires and air quality that’s happened in the past.
