Costco Recalls Popular Poke Due To Listeria Concerns
The latest in the product recalls category comes direct from Costco where there are concerns for listeria in their popular Kirkland-brand Ahi Tuna Wasabi Poke.
This product was sold in over 30 states including Washington State. The list also includes Oregon and Idaho.

It's something to be aware of, for sure.
This FDA recall states that 3,314.7 pounds of their famous Ahi Tuna Wasabi Poke may contain listeria.
And it's not even the tuna, itself.

The listeria concerns come from the green onion used for this poke.
You know green onions. They're those little green circle things you find in a lot of dishes. A flavor enhancer that is sometimes the taste you're looking for but not sure where it's coming from.
Like on this amazing pulled pork, french fry dish here.
The fries have nothing to do with it, but those green things are green onions and that's what could be causing this listeria risk.
