Denny's has been a long-standing diner across the United States for decades. Most traveling towns have one, often right by a freeway exit, so you never have to look to far for your favorite plates.

This convenience, however, may cause a bit of a hiccup soon.

After Denny's was acquired for just over $600 million last month, with that comes the closing of something of 150 locations across the United States.

150 Denny's Locations At-Risk

People reported that 150 locations were planning on closing.

The idea comes from to take the ones that are performing great and make them greater while taking the underperforming locations and not have them around to spend any focus on them.

This is nothing new as there already have been some Denny's locations that have closed in the past couple of years.

There isn't a set timeline and no word, just yet, on when any of the 150 planned locations will be closing.

Which Denny's location are closing?

At this time, there is no set list of restaurants. It was only mentioned the underperforming ones. Still, with over 1,300 locations across the United States, There will still be plenty of Denny's restaurants to enjoy. Yes, that's just over 10% of locations closing. We can only hope the ones in our area stay open.

There are only 40 Denny's locations in Washington State. Hopefully they all do well enough that Washington State off the corporate radar.
