We were hanging out in the Capitol Hill area of Seattle when we found this fancy spot that happened to just be opening for lunch. Well, it was lunch time so why not check it out. Though you could tell the prices were going to be a little high, it was 100% worth it to experience this fun restaurant.

This place is Di Fiora which is Italian for 'Of Flower' (according to Google Translate).

The interior decor would make you think you were in some Italian garden full of flowers.

So, first things first. Drinks! They had this lavender drink called the Purple Rain on the menu. It looks great and tastes even better. Like drinking liquid lavender.

My kids, however, opted for the Thai tea.

The food selection is Asian-inspired but with a European flair. Everything sounded great but we had to make our selections. Here's what we ordered.

My oldest, who wasn't that hungry, just opted for the crunchy spring rolls off the appetizer menu. They were amazing as you'd figure they would be.

My other child, who does like burgers, tried this burger that was wrapped in sticky rice instead of a bun. They couldn't quite pick it up so just cut it and at it with a fork and knife. It was probably the best way to enjoy this, and enjoy this we did (I also had a bite and it was amazing)

As soon as I saw crab fried rice on the menu, I knew that was what I was going to get. It was amazing. Fried rice was cooked perfectly and complimented with crab and the egg on top, it was fantastic.

They also had something on the menu called Di Fiora Signature Carbonara. If a restaurant puts their name on a menu item, you know it has to be fantastic. And it was amazing.

LOOK: Best Beers From Every State

To find the best beer in each state and Washington D.C., Stacker analyzed January 2020 data from BeerAdvocate, a website that gathers user scores for beer in real-time. BeerAdvocate makes its determinations by compiling consumer ratings for all 50 states and Washington D.C. and applying a weighted rank to each. The weighted rank pulls the beer toward the list's average based on the number of ratings it has and aims to allow lesser-known beers to increase in rank. Only beers with at least 10 rankings to be considered; we took it a step further to only include beers with at least 100 user rankings in our gallery. Keep reading to find out what the best beer is in each of the 50 states and Washington D.C.
