How many burger places does Yakima already have? The answer is a lot. But that's not stopping anyone from wishing we may get a Shake Shack in the future. Not to say we won't ever, though it may seem a little unlikely, but far weirder things have happened in our humble town so you never know.

My middle-child just got back from a trip to New York and they mentioned they stopped by Shake Shack. It makes sense since Shake Shack originated in New York though more and more are spreading out across the United States. It was big news with Seattle finally got one. You think Yakima has enough places to find a cheeseburger, Seattle has just a few more. And by a few I mean a metric ton.

Of course I'm open for any and all new businesses to come to Yakima and welcome them all. When looking at the Shake Shack menu it has boujie items like a White Truffle Burger but have several standard items like your typical cheeseburgers, grilled cheese sandwiches and a variety of fries including white truffle fries and cheesy bacon fries.

With a name like Shake Shack you gotta look at their shakes as they seem to pride themselves upon these. I mean, it's literally half of their name. They have a tiramisu shake and orange dreamsicle shake I just have to try sometime.

I haven't had the chance to eat here, yet. I snapped the photo at the Denver airport and it looked good but wasn't in the mood to eat (believe it or not) but if we ever got one, I'd love to check them out.

LOOK: Best Beers From Every State

To find the best beer in each state and Washington D.C., Stacker analyzed January 2020 data from BeerAdvocate, a website that gathers user scores for beer in real-time. BeerAdvocate makes its determinations by compiling consumer ratings for all 50 states and Washington D.C. and applying a weighted rank to each. The weighted rank pulls the beer toward the list's average based on the number of ratings it has and aims to allow lesser-known beers to increase in rank. Only beers with at least 10 rankings to be considered; we took it a step further to only include beers with at least 100 user rankings in our gallery. Keep reading to find out what the best beer is in each of the 50 states and Washington D.C.
