El Pollo Loco is Finally Coming to Washington State
When it comes to chicken, the #1 place people in Southern California often think of is El Pollo Loco.
Based in SoCal with around 500 restaurants, almost 400 of those being in California alone, it's a staple restaurant for all in the area.
They also have locations in Texas, Nevada, Arizona and even a few in Colorado, Louisiana and Utah.
And, soon, Washington State will be added to that list.
Yep, El Pollo Loco is skipping Oregon and going to straight to the Eververde State.
Sometime in the near future you'll be able to find El Pollo Loco in Kent, Washington, thanks to a franchise as reported by The Kent Reporter.
A couple of years ago there was talks from El Pollo Loco about 4 locations in Washington State with Kent being one of them. The other locations being Tacoma, Puyallup, and Federal Way.
As of this time there is no set date for the opening of El Pollo Loco in Kent, WA. They do have an address, though. You'll be able to find the El Pollo Loco in Kent when it does open at 10120 SE 256th St. in Kent. That's in a convenient, bustling business area with a lot more shops in the area and right by a local park.
So far, there are no plans for an El Pollo Loco on the east side of Washington State though there's nothing stopping a local franchisee to reach out to El Pollo Loco and start building one. I'd love to see it.
