The Central Washington State Fair begins on Friday and parking and admission will be free for part of that day.

The promotion is called "Free Until 1" and is sponsored by KIMA TV and iDream Mattress.

In a press release, fair manager Greg Stewart says, "Thanks to our sponsors we are able to give the public a chance to experience the Fair without having to pay for admission or parking for a time on opening day."

The promotion begins at 11 a.m. and ends at 1 p.m. Parking and admission will be free during that time frame.

According to the release, two other promotions are designed to keep costs down. Franz Bread Day on Monday, Sept. 22, will allow patrons to get unlimited ride wristbands for $23 with a special coupon from Franz. On Tuesday, Sept. 23, there will be another pay-one-price promotion from Pizza Hut. With $23 and a receipt from Pizza Hut for at least $10, the fair will give you admission and an unlimited ride wristband.

The fair runs through Sunday, Sept. 28. Full info on the fair can be found at their website.
