Five Below Opens in Yakima Before Grand Opening

Five Below is a store full of trendy, fun, and affordable finds, according to their tagline.

Yakima has been missing one for years but, as of now, Yakima finally has a Five Below.

Why is it called Five Below?

The original concept was everything in the the store was $5 or less.

Much like how the Dollar Store now carries items for more than a dollar, as does Five Below, but the concept is still the same. You're not overpaying for items so you know that many, or most, items will be less than $5 there may be some items including seasonal items that are marked at $8 or even $10 as you'll see in these photos.

Five Below is still planning a grand opening celebration in November. However, they're having these open-door 'soft openings' to allow people to come in and shop before it's widely known they're open to get used to ringing up items and working out any technical issues before they're full-blown open.

You can find Five Below in Union Gap by Texas Roadhouse in the old Party City location on Valley Mall Blvd.
