After years of begging and pleading, the time has finally come.

Pasco is now offering non-stop flights to Los Angeles with Alaska Airlines.

This is good news for me as, since I live in Yakima, I'm Alaska preferred.

As it is now, to fly to Los Angeles, I fly out of Yakima to Seattle because, well, because that's the only option. Then, from there, I connect to my Los Angeles flight.

Fortunately, at Sea-Tac, there are several Los Angeles-area options including Burbank, Ontario, Anaheim, and, of course, LAX.

A quick drive to Tri-Cities can have you fly from Pasco straight to LAX.

What flight options to Los Angeles does Tri-Cites have for nonstop flights?

As of now, LAX is the only option to fly nonstop from Tri-Cities to Pasco.
Since the other airports are much smaller than LAX like if you were to fly into Ontario or Burbank, they probably wouldn't have as much of a demand. LAX works, though. You can fly into there and go from there anywhere you need.

This will be handy for those trips to Disneyland, too.

How much are nonstop tickets from Tri-Cities to Los Angeles

Prices vary depending on when you're flying out and even when you plan on flying back in.

I picked a random weekend in February and it came out to about $227 which is reasonable.

Closer dates were more expensive, but that's true for any flight.

When does the Tri-Cities flight leave for Los Angeles and when does it return?

So far, and times are always subject to change, the flight leaves at 7:10 a.m. which has you getting into Los Angeles before 10 a.m. The flight, itself, is about a 2.5 hour flight.

The flight returns at 7:55 p.m. and has you getting back to Tri-Cities just before 11 p.m.

This means you could fly down, go out to eat, walk around a bit, and fly back, all in the same day if you wanted.

I grabbed a random day (Saturday, December 14th) to see if I could and you 100% can. Flying in for about $400 and you'd still have a solid 8 hours before you'd want to head back to LAX to catch your flight home.

I'll have to try that sometime.
