Yakima Restaurant Has Amazing Elotes on the Menu All Year Long
I was thinking about how amazing elotes are. If you're not familiar it's sometimes called Mexican Street Corn or some variation of that. It's corn-on-the-cob that's been grilled and covered with tops like cheese, salt, cilantro, other stuff as well depending on who's making it. It's really just about the best thing ever.
I mostly see these during the summer at barbecues or parties but they don't need to be exclusive to any time of year.
In fact, this local restaurant has it whenever you need your elote fix.
You can find this at Fuego Margarita Bar off 48th and Tieton.
And not just elotes! They also have great food, too, like the Al Pastor tacos. Definitely worth ordering.
I'm also a big fan of the Diablo Shrimp. They're super spicy, but I like spicy.
And, naturally, you can't have a place called Fuego Margarita Bar without amazing drinks. Though they can do just about any margarita you can think of, here's a look at the Fresa Colada which is like a pina colada but with strawberry.
The food is phenomenal, the drinks are amazing but the idea that they have elotes on the appetizer menu is a great thing. I'll find myself returning just for some of those, even to go. But if I stay I can grab a drink which is always a good thing.
