Great News! Downtown Summer Nights Extended an Extra Day

Downtown Summer Nights is extending the summer concert series by one more day.

Exciting!

It was unfortunate that one of the slated days had to cancel due to dangerous air conditions from the recent fires in our area.

Breanna Stratton, the Events Coordinator:

“We are so grateful that the bands were able to come back and bring one more night of Downtown Summer Nights to the 2024 season! It’s going to be a fantastic evening, and we can’t wait to see everyone there.”

Downtown Summer Nights has been a staple event for Yakima and the entire Yakima Valley for the past several years. Almost every Thursday, the streets become alive with fantastic music and a family-friendly atmosphere bringing everyone together in downtown Yakima.

Again, unfortunate that one of the nights had to cancel with the smoke in the air and all that, but instead of just canceling they'll add that extra day to make summer last just a little bit longer.

I'm all for it.
