There's a neat little French café called Chez Torrez that just opened on 72nd off Tieton next to Rosauers.

Well, I just couldn't resist checking it out for myself.

I've been watching their Facebook for progress and, great news, they're now open. Let's check them out!

I was blown away by the art on the inside. The interior looks like an exterior.
Stepping through the front door is like a portal bringing you to some outdoor café in downtown Paris or something.

I was here before lunch service began but before 10 a.m. they had plenty of pastries to choose from.

Like a kid in a candy store, I wanted one of everything. Unlike most kids in a candy store, I had money. Though I didn't get one of everything. But I did get several. I'll save the others for my next time there.

Here's what I grabbed.

I knew I had to grab a chocolate croissant. It was amazing.

I grabbed a few of these cream-tart-like pastries. They just looked so fun I had to grab some. They had other varieties as well.

They had their version of a toaster pastry. Though I didn't bother with a toaster as I don't think you're supposed to, but it was fun.

They had what looked like a cream puff as well. They called it an éclair but these little puff pastry mounds were filled with a vanilla custard. I thought they were great.

They have a nice looking menu as well. I'm looking forward to checking out their lunch items soon.
