There's a new cafe in Union Gap inviting all senior citizens for a meal in a comfortable, all-accessible setting.

Meals on Wheels in Yakima
Meals on Wheels is a program in Yakima that helps our 60 years old and older senior citizens with meals and also provides wellness checks to make sure everyone is happy and healthy.
It's a program from Yakima's People to People that has been providing help to people in Yakima for several years.
Union Gap Meals on Wheels Location
You can find the new Meals on Wheels Cafe at 1215 Business Park Way in Union Gap.
They're only open for limited hours to plan accordingly.

They serve lunch Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m.
Just 2 hours every day.

The good news is you don't need to sign up or register in advance. Just show up.
You'll have three meal options. You can opt for one of those meal choices that day or go for the sandwich, soup, and salad for the third option.
Again, this is a Meals on Wheels Cafe so it's meant for senior citizens, but that doesn't mean you can't accompany your family, though if you're not 60+ years old you'll have to pay for your own meal at a price of $10. Still, not bad.
If you are 60+ years old, you meal is part of the Meals on Wheels program with People for People. However, they do suggest a $3 donation.
