Great Back to School College Campus Eats in the Yakima Valley
Heritage University
HU just released their daily menus, and it got me thinking that the next time I'm out that way in Toppenish, I should say hi to my friends who work there and grab a bite to eat at The Eagles Cafe. It's open to the public, so even if you don't have a friend or student who attends, you can always stop by.
Open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Located at 3240 Fort Road in Toppenish.
Perry Technical Institute
Perry Tech has a hidden gem within the campus at Mama Corie's Café (she used to own a popular restaurant in downtown Yakima on Staff Sargeant Pendleton Way).
Open Monday through Thursday from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. Located on the west end of Matson Hall.
Located at 2011 West Washington Ave in Yakima across from the Yakima Airport.
Yakima Valley College
YVC has a couple of places to get a bite to eat: the Grab N' Go Marketplace inside the HUB (Hopf Union Building), and Sopho's Mojo, which serves espresso and other goodies.
Sopho's is open Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. in Sundquist Hall (Building 21).
Located on the corner of South 16th Ave and West Nob Hill Blvd in Yakima.
