Washington State Landlords Repair Laws

Washington State Legislature RCW 59.18.060 states that if you're a tenant of a management-run complex, it's up to the landlord to fix or repair anything needed to make your residence "fit for human habitation."

There are some things that you, the tenant, will have to provide as listed in the lease agreement including your own cleaning supplies to keep your place tidy or even if you accidentally cause a hole in the wall, if it's something you can patch up yourself.

However, your landlord may be able to handle that as well since they already have the tools to do it. It's worth asking if that happens to happen.
