So often when we here of a new business, especially restaurants, opening in Yakima it seems like so many are going to Union Gap or someplace downtown.

It's always nice to hear of a new place opening up in another part of town like the West Valley area.

On top of that, when it's a second location making it more convenient to visit for those people who live in that area.

What's the Doughnut Shop in West Valley

The Donut Bar & Cafe officially announced they're opening a second location.

This is set to be at 5706 Tieton Dr. which would be somewhere between Joy Garden and The Public House.

Great spot to be in! Nice and convenient.

Not much else is known so far.

No exact date on when it's opening. It just say the vague coming soon on their Facebook.

Just because it's a second location, it doesn't mean it's a junior location or anything. They said they're still going to have everything the main location has as well including all your favorite doughnuts, breakfast sandwiches, coffee, redbull drinks, and everything else you can find at the primary location on Nob Hill.

Many are looking forward to this location opening soon as, outside of the bakery department at local grocery stores, there aren't many doughnut shops in Yakima to begin with, let alone many on the west side of town. It'll be nice to have the option of running in, grabbing a few quick things, and head out in a matter of moments.

Or you can sit and enjoy something tasty with a friend.

We'll update more as we hear anything.
