Why You Must Try Yakima’s Orange Creamsicle Doughnut

Having standard things you love and reason to go to your local favorite eateries is always nice.

You get seated, they hand you a menu, then hand you a smaller menu that has, like, 4 items on it saying those are the seasonal specials. I always have to have a look and, many times, I'll order something from that smaller menu.

There's a doughnut place in town we love and saw something on the seasonal menu I just had to try.

This is the Orange Creamsicle doughnut.

Okay, to be fair, it's a dozen doughnuts and the orange creamsicle one is the one that's front and center in the photo.

Not that I need to, but if I'm going to get a doughnut, I may as well just grab a dozen so I can share.

I happen to see this at The Donut Bar and Cafe in Yakima on Nob Hill.

I was going in for their chocolate cake doughnuts where are truly the best in the world, but when I saw this on the menu, I knew I had to try it and I'm glad I did.
