When you sit down to watch a movie and you really get into it, you're transported to another place! You're along for the ride, for the adventure; you’re THERE!

Where Are They? Where Are You? Washington!?

But you don't ever really think about where there actually is, where that haunted house is located, where the tree that the cheerleader is hiding behind is actually planted! Well, most people don’t; I actually do.

And there are quite a few films that were filmed right here in the evergreen state of Washington. Films from all genres. But today, I wanna focus on the films that make us sleep with the lights on. Horror films!

What Kind Of Horror Fan Are You?

I'm a fan of the classic slasher films. Friday The 13th, Nightmare On Elm Street, Halloween. Even Child’s Play with Chucky; I own all of them on DVD (granted, since I worked at Hollywood Video for over 2 years, I own A LOT of DVDs).

Art the Clown from the TERRIFIER series is a little much for me these days, but when I’m really in a horror kick, believe it or not, the LEPRECHAUN series with Warwick Davis is a fun watch!
