My Experiences With Yakima Valley Theatres

I’m a big fan of the theatre. From school plays in Naches, to attending productions at Ike in Yakima, to seeing big shows at The Capitol Theatre, and even performing myself in the Upstairs Theatre at Glenwood Square and the 4th Street Theatre with the comedy improv troupe, Manic Thunder.

But walking into the Princess Theatre was something completely new to me. I had driven by it countless times, passing through Prosser, but just assumed it was a standard movie theater. Then my friend told me about one of my favorite comedians taking the stage, and I realized there was more than I thought on the corner of Mead Ave & 7th Street.

When you walk in, to your left is the entrance to a beautiful serving bar and dining area filled with tables and chairs and a smaller stage.

From the main door, you can walk up a ramp and enter the historic hallway leading to the beautiful 400-seat theatre.
