Growing up in Yakima (Naches for me), it could be tough to make friends at times. Then you think about what kids and teens have to deal with in today's world of social media, not to mention the hit the pandemic did to them during their formative years, and it can be extremly tough to build those special and social relationships. Luckily, in Yakima, we have many places that kids can go for help and to connect: Rod's House, Yakima Salvation Army, YWCA, and the Lynchpin Foundation.

Helping The Youth For Over 13 Years

Helping the youth in the Yakima Valley for 13 years is a lot of work and also a great achievement, and they are celebrating with an open house that you can attend to find out what they’re all about! If you’re a long-time fan and supporter of the Lynchpin Foundation, or maybe this is the first time you’ve heard of them, now’s your chance to learn a lot more.

What Is Lynchpin Foundation?

It’s a place that has been empowering teens and their families to succeed in the world and build upon social and life skills.

It’s a social learning community where teens and their families can go to help learn skills and connect with others. Learn more about the Lynchpin Foundation Mission here.

Different Clubs & Activities at Lynchpin Foundation

Weekly clubs are offered so that students can grow socially through mutual interests and fun. The years that kids spent in the pandemic really hurt, especially with social interactions, with groups like Nerf League, Minecraft & LEGO, Dungeons & Dragons, arts and crafts (and more). It’s a way to help teens come out of their shell.
