WHY IS HERMISTON THE ‘UGLIEST CITY’ IN OREGON?

We don’t know why Hermiston is supposed to be the ugliest city in Oregon. It appears to be relatively scenic. Take the HART bus around town and take in the natural beauty of the landscape. Locals in one Reddit group said we can visit Riverfront Park, Hat Rock, Cold Springs, or go blackberry picking by the dam for a good time in Hermiston.

Of course, there are barren-like patches of land in Hermiston as well as acres of crop lands. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, though, so we’re sticking with one of our co-workers who said, “Hermiston really ain’t that ugly!”
