James and Jennifer Crumbley, Parents of School Shooter, Ethan Crumbley, Have WA State Ties
James and Jennifer Crumbley, the parents of school shooter, Ethan Crumbley, who were arrested this week on charges of involuntary manslaughter, have Washington state ties.
According to several media reports, The Crumbley's lived in Issaquah and Renton before moving to Michigan.
A former neighbor, Lori Dow, informed a Seattle radio station that Ethan Crumbley played with her own son nearly ten years ago. Both of the young boys were neighbors in Issaquah, WA, when they were around five (5) years old, according to an article from MyNorthwest.com.
A current screenshot from one address location website gives an outdated Renton address for Jennifer Crumbley, indicating that the Crumbley family allegedly lived in multiple places in Washington state.
The Crumbley parents were arrested in Detroit on Saturday, December 4, 2021, after an extensive manhunt for the pair when they missed an arraignment in Oxford, MI. Oxford is about a half-hour drive from Detroit. Their son, Ethan, was seen on Oxford High School surveillance video with a gun. Four high school students were killed and several were injured, including one teacher.
The next court date for James and Jennifer Crumbley is December 14th. Since both of them have pleaded not guilty, they will have the first of two preliminary hearings. just one day after their son Ethan will have his own preliminary hearing. The Crumbley parents have not yet posted their bail, set at $500,000 cash bond each. Ethan has not been granted any bail and has been assigned a public defender, according to a report from our sister station, 1240 WJIM-AM in Michigan,
