Keith Urban will be performing something unexpected at the 2019 ACM Awards. The song is called "Burden," and the country superstar says the tune gave him pause the first time he heard it.

On his Instagram account, Urban shares that "Burden" "is something I heard recently that absolutely spoke to me;" he says that the song isn't his next single, but rather "just something I really wanted to do tonight." Further details are not known, but Foy Vance, a Northern Irish singer-songwriter, released a song called "Burden" on his 2016 album The Wild Swan.

"I love when songs do that, when they just stop you in your tracks, and this one definitely did that," Urban says in a now-deleted video on the ACM Awards' Instagram page. "It's that kind of a song, and hopefully that's what will happen on Sunday night (April 7)."

Urban is nominated twice at the 2019 ACM Awards: He's up for Entertainer of the Year and Male Artist of the Year. Urban won the latter honor in 2005 and 2006, but he's never won Entertainer of the Year, despite being nominated in the category eight other times.

"I know what the bridesmaid feels like," Urban says with a laugh, "and if it goes that way, it's all good too. Just really honored to get the nominations."

The 2019 ACM Awards are set to air live on CBS beginning at 8PM ET. The ceremony will take place at the MGM Grand Garden Arena.
