There are so many product recalls happening it's sometimes hard to keep up.

But when there's a recall from a food item that's making people sick or worse, it's one to definitely be aware of.

USA Today is reporting a product recall of deli pasta salads sold at Kroger stores due to listeria outbreak which has, so far, made 20 people sick and has killed 4 people.

Here are the two items you need to look out for.

If you happen to have these in your fridge, do not eat. Throw away or return for a refund.

Deli Pasta Salad Recall Items

Basil Pesto Bowtie Pasta Salad of various weights sold at deli counters and in Grab-n-Go packages between Sept. 6 and Oct. 2 with UPC codes 217573-10000 and 217573-20000.

Smoked Mozzarella Penne Salad of various weights sold at deli counters and in Grab-n-Go packages between Aug. 29 and Sept. 2 with UPC code 227573-10000.

Many states have recalled these two pasta bowls including Washington State and Oregon. Other states include California, Idaho, Montana, and others outside of the Pacific Northwest.

Here in Yakima when we say Kroger, our Kroger store is Fred Meyer. But other stores that would be considered Kroger might be Sillons, City Market, Ralphs, Smith's, and some others.

So far there have been some illnesses and 4 deaths.

None of the four deaths came from Washington State and, as of this time, nobody from Washington fell ill, either.

However, the recall still stands. If you're in Washington State and you bought one of those pasta deli salad bowls at a place like Fred Meyer, don't eat it.
