Kyle Petty Charity Ride Across America Stops in Yakima in May

The Kyle Petty Charity Ride Across America will be stopping in Yakima on May 3, the first day of the trip that's set to the end on May 11 in Key Largo, Fla.

While they're in Yakima, the riders -- including Kyle and Richard Petty -- will meet with the community at Yakima Speedway. Organizer Doug Betteral of Better All Auto Sales says the community is invited to join the free event from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at the speedway. The gates will open at 10 a.m.
