Tickets On Sale for ‘The Music Man’ at Eisenhower High School
Every year Eisenhower High School brings some of the best talent in Yakima on stage in their annual musical. A mainstay of the IKE Players as is for many high schools across the country.
In recent years they've done Oklahoma, SpongeBob: The Musical, Shrek, Urine Town (yes, there's a musical called Urine Town), and many more.
This school year the IKE Players are presenting the classic The Music Man, but with a twist.

You see, it's not just the IKE Players but late last year they invited all schools who didn't have a musical-arts program to audition as well as though and even IKE alumni.
And, in case you're wondering, no, I didn't audition.
The Music Man as performed by the IKE Players is slated to have over 100 students from Kindergarten all the way through 12th grade.
The show dates are March 20, 21, 22, 27, 28, 29. I know, it's not until March but tickets just went on sale.
This will be a sight to see, for sure.
Tickets are on sale now in advance. You have to figure that with so many students on stage, more people may be getting their tickets to see their children on stage. And, though, the IKE auditorium does hold a lot more than the old Mini-theater did, seats will fill up fast.
I'd recommend getting tickets as soon as you can as there may be no guarantee of getting tickets at the door.
The Music Man follows the story of a con man who tell the town they should start a band by buying instruments and uniforms from him, only to have him fall in love with the town's music teacher.
