Never Mind Valentine’s Day., Some Stores Have Easter Candy on Shelves Already

There seems to be a mad rush to get items on store shelves quicker. You see that when Halloween ends and many stores can't wait to get Christmas stuff on the shelves. And same for Christmas. As soon as it's over you start to see Valentine's Day stuff on shelves. I guess you can't be too prepared.

What I thought was interesting was that I already saw some Easter Stuff on the shelf in the form of a favorite by many, the Cadbury Creme Egg.

I mean, those who love Cadbury Creme Eggs won't complain, but I just thought it was interesting.

Of course I bought some.

I prefer the caramel ones that were introduced several years ago, but the Cadbury Creme Egg was a staple treat for Easter along with all of the other Easter candy.

And those who love them I'm sure would love to know that some stores may have them on the shelf earlier than expected.

Easter is pretty early this year landing in March this year on March 31. Maybe they're doing it now to take advantage of all the sales time they can, though a solid 6 weeks seems like it'd be plenty of time to craft a basket or whatever most people do with Easter candy.

I found these at Walgreens on 40th and Summitview but won't be surprised if other stores had something available now as well.

Look out for it.

To find the best beer in each state and Washington D.C., Stacker analyzed January 2020 data from BeerAdvocate, a website that gathers user scores for beer in real-time. BeerAdvocate makes its determinations by compiling consumer ratings for all 50 states and Washington D.C. and applying a weighted rank to each. The weighted rank pulls the beer toward the list's average based on the number of ratings it has and aims to allow lesser-known beers to increase in rank. Only beers with at least 10 rankings to be considered; we took it a step further to only include beers with at least 100 user rankings in our gallery.
