New Scam in Yakima Has Been Saying You Hit Their Car and Want Cash

There's a new scam in Yakima the Yakima Police Department are warning you about that has it seem like you hit someone's car and are wanting you to give them cash to compensate. Obviously, this is a scam.

Basically, they come up to you saying you hit their car and are looking for a cash handout to make it all better. Don't.
If someone honestly hit your car, exchange insurance information and let them handle the rest.

More and more people are getting dash cams. It may not be a bad idea to invest in one of those, too.

If something like this happens to you, might be a good idea to talk to the police about it. It seems they've had several cases just like this recently.
