This Peanut Chicken Rice Bowl in Yakima is the Perfect Lunch Option

Lunch, in my opinion, is the most underrated meal of the day. Everyone goes big for dinner and there are plenty of breakfast spots but lunch is that refuel from the busy day. Heading to a cafe, restaurant, back home, or even grabbing something from the work fridge to sit, chill, and eat something without trying to think about work is much needed for all. It's like a pitstop from racing to work hard, fill back up, then get back out there and get the rest of your tasks done whether it's at work or at home.

We have a few spots for lunch in Yakima that I enjoy and one place I've been to a couple of times has plenty of options. One being this peanut chicken rice bowl that was the perfect size and the perfect price to go along with the perfect taste.

You can find this at Lai Thai Cafe at Creekside Loop on 40th just off of Washington Ave.

This place has a great location and a nice menu. You'd think it's your basic coffee shop from the outside but they have a full menu with a thai twist featuring items like Thai lettuce wraps, pad thai and more. I opted for the chicken rice bowl with peanut sauce. You can choose between teriyaki or peanut. It was perfect and I couldn't even finish the entire thing. I always love leftovers for that late-night snack idea.
