Phil Vassar Will Be Replacing Josh Turner Friday at the Fair

The announcement was made earlier today that the Josh Turner concert scheduled for Friday September 20th at the Central Washington State Fair had been canceled. More on that here.

The fair organizers did an INCREDIBLE job finding a last minute replacement for that show. Phil Vassar! Often referenced as "The Piano man of country music".

According to the press release:

"Country music hitmaker Phil Vassar has been signed to perform tomorrow (Friday) night at 7:30 p.m. at the Central Washington State Fair. Originally the Fair had Josh Turner set to perform but he had to cancel due to a tragic bus accident that took the life of one of his crew.

Vassar has 10 No. 1 singles and 26 Top 40 hits, including Carlene, Just Another Day in Paradise, Six-Pack Summer, When I Love You; and many more. Vassar was racking up hits on the radio long before he even began his own recording career that has seen the release of six albums, two ASCAP Songwriter of the Year trophies, ACM’s Top New Male Vocalist and sold-out shows across the country."

If you would like a refund on your ticket, according to the release; "If Josh Turner fans want a refund they can get that through the State Fair Park Box Office.
