Tri-Cities Airport Increasing Opportunities to Fly Direct to Southern California
One of the benefits about flying out of Tri-Cities is their airport has so many more options for flying direct to somewhere other than Seattle.
I fly out of Yakima's airport (YKM) every chance I get for convenience but if you don't like layovers and are just trying to get to one of the many places Tri-Cities Airport (PSC) has to offer like Salt Lake City, Minneapolis, Denver, Phoenix, Las Vegas, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Burbank, a quick trip to Pasco isn't terrible. Especially if you don't have a preferred airline you always use.
Because of all the options, PSC has multiple airlines with Alaska, Delta, United, and a couple of others. One of them being Avelo Airlines who pride themselves on being affordable and reliable with no change or cancellation fees.
Avelo were already providing cost-efficient flights to Burbank which is right near Hollywood twice a week and now they're upping it to four times a week.
This gives more opportunity to visit when you need to and even return home so you can easily book a round-trip ticket with more options for coming and going.
It doesn't seem like the days of the week or consistent, though.
It looks like every Saturday has flights incoming and outgoing so that's nice.
From there, it looks like many Tuesdays and/or Wednesdays are an option as well as some Fridays and even some Sundays.
I could see someone making a quick weekend trip out of this. Fly out on Saturday, have fun Saturday night, then turn around and fly right back home Sunday. That's always an option.
Look out for these flights from Avelo Airlines when you want to fly direct from Tri-Cities to Burbank on the cheap.
