The entire sky is lit up for the 4th of July, and I think most want to keep it that way. The Moxee Police Department wanted to remind you of a few rules when it comes to lighting off fireworks in Moxee. If this rule is broken too many times by too many different people, there's a good chance that this year may be the last. Let's make sure that doesn't happen.

Summerized from the Sargent Mark Lewis of the Moxee Police Department

  • You may light fireworks between 9 a.m. - 11 p.m.
  • You may only light fireworks on your own private property. No schools, churches, roads or even sidewalks.
  • There will be no public firework display. Parks close at 10 p.m.
  • Additional law enforcement will be out patrolling making sure everyone is following these rules.
